Math - Lafayette

Welcome to sixth grade math!  

I am Stacey LaFayette, a teacher of 26 years, a Whitesboro graduate and resident.  I attended MVCC, SUNY Oneonta, and SUNY Cortland.  

Sixth grade math has numerous topics that will be useful in the years to come.  Topics this year will include:

*ratios and proportions

*number system (positive and negative numbers, decimals, dividing fractions)

*expressions and equations

* geometry

*probability & statistics

Additional help is available outside of class time. Students need to schedule a time to meet during the day when we are both available. In addition, after school review is offered once weekly until 3:30. I will announce that schedule in class as well as on my Google Stream.
