Math - Tinkler

Welcome to 8th grade.  We are proud to have you as a part of Team 8B.  We are looking forward to an exciting school year.  Our doors are always open.  Feel free to stop in and see anyone of us at any time. 

Mr. Tinkler has been teaching for 28 years.  I have taught all levels of math including math 6, 7, 8, Algebra I, Geometry, and Algebra II and Trigonometry.  I have also started an Introduction to Coding class using Lego Mindstorm Ev3 and now Lego Spike Prime.  Students have participated in my Introduction to Coding Club for the past 11 years.  Both coding options utilize block coding and scratch.mit.edu.

Mr. Tinkler is an Emeritus of the New York State Master Program.  This program is a STEM based program that connects teachers across the state.  We explore valuable teaching methods from fellow teachers as well as other professionals throughout the country.
