Social Studies - McQueen
Ryan McQueen
Our class is a 15:1:1 Social Studies classroom for students grades 6,7 and 8.
In our classroom, we focus on all academics pertaining to Social Studies and World History, as well as character education and basic life skills.
The curriculum is implemented using differentiated instruction to meet the needs of each individual student.
We work to instill that all of our students have the opportunities to achieve success both in and out of the classroom.
About the Teacher
I attended college at St. John Fisher College in Pittsford, New York. I received a Dual Bachelor's Degree in 2009 in Elementary Education and Special Education. I also attained my Master's Degree in Birth-2nd Grade Special Education from Touro College. My experience includes 6 years as a resource room teacher, 5 years as an elementary Special Education teacher and now I am eager to continue my journey here at the Middle School Campus.
With my 15 years of experience at Whitesboro, I look forward to continuing to teach our students in our community every day.
I currently reside in Marcy, New York with my wife, who is also a 2nd grade teacher at Marcy Elementary, and our three sons, James, Andrew and Matthew.
Special Education is my passion. I love getting the chance to put a smile on a child's face through creating an atmosphere within the classroom that is both warm and inviting for those students to learn.
