With great excitement I welcome you to the 2024-2025 school year!
As a 7th year 12:1 3:1 teacher, I am anxiously awaiting the start of the school year. Prior to being a 12:1 3:1 teacher, I was Resource Room teacher for two years, and also, a Substitute Teacher within the Whitesboro Central School District for three years, making me aware of the high standards and outstanding reputation the district exemplifies. It is within these years of substituting where I have had the pleasure of working in a variety of settings and schools throughout the district. Not only have these previous experiences prepared me, but also, my education has as well.
I have obtained an Associate’s degree from Mohawk Valley Community College in Childhood Education as well as a Bachelor’s degree from SUNY Oswego in Childhood Education. Additionally, I received my Master’s degree in Special Education from Walden University. Consequently, I am fully prepared and equipped with the latest instructional techniques and strategies, which will support and prepare your child for their future endeavors.
To tell you a bit more about myself, I am a proud Whitesboro Alum and reside in this wonderful community with my wife, Jaclyn, our daughter Madison, and our dogs, Milo and Willow. Outside of school, I enjoy playing golf and spending as much time with my family as possible.
I am very eager to get started and continue to support and develop your child’s academics. Should you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to email me at defarley@wboro.org or 315-266-3300 ext. 0320.
